Worship that teaches...
Worship is one of the ways I can say to God what I really feel about the things He has done in my life.
it has been my dream to lead worship in the congregation. At first, it was a selfish desire. I wanted to see myself sing. But deep in my heart, the Lord is slowly developing in me a heart to dwell in Him and worship him alone and privately.
it has been quite a struggle at first. I couldn't even hit the right notes at first. But with my determination and patience from others and God. I slowly learned that worship is a personal audience with the King of Glory. I have understood the idea that worshipping him is standing in the throneroom of God and tell him of who and what He is in our lives, I learned also that worship is giving him the honor, glory and adoration he deserves in all of us.
lastly, I realized that worship is a lifestyle. That everything our hands lay upon, and our voices speak about and even the thoughts we have that brings honor and praise to his name is worship. It is an aroma of offering, an incense of prayer and thanksgiving and even, a pruned vine wine fresh from the grounds.
I thank God for letting me learn these simple truths as I lead worship and become a worshipper of Him who is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above and everything we could ever ask of or imagine of who he is in our lives. Honor, praise and glory to the THE GREAT I AM. Amen.
