For these days...
The week has been a blessing! Surely many things in our life are surrounded by how we react to things rather than our actions. I am more overwhelmed on the Lord’s goodness rather than my own problems. Surely, He is in control.
What are the things I have learned through all of these? Here’s some glimpse…
1. Amazing grace- as the song goes “amazing grace how sweet the sound…” It’s a sweet sound to those hearts that are down and discouraged with many faults and mistakes we do. Human as I am, I am prone to seek His grace everyday. His grace is abundance to me. It will always be abundant all the days of my life… (Also for you too!)
2. Thanks instead of cursing- I have been many times speaking of curses on my life. I used the words “I hate…” “I don’t…” and a lot more. For this week, I have experienced always thanking the Lord for many things- trials, blessings and opportunities! For this week alone, I am more inclined to see the positive in things rather than dwell on the opposite.
3. Restoration is real- I have always heard of stories how God restored a people, a nation or just someone down the street. This time, this experience is with my sister. Coming home after 5 years is a glimpse of restoration in her life. For the years she was not with us, her spiritual life has been a spiral road of despair, guilt and frustrations. I prayed for this day when she will come back. It’s a challenge for all of us financially but it will be worth the try. God is the author of finances and the life planner. I know that my sister right now is in many things, especially in thinking of her kids’ future here. I believe that sooner or later, my ate will come back to the Lord with full will. Pray with me for this!
4. Molding doesn’t come in a day…- I don’t know, it seems that God has been up for something in my life with all of these are happening. I have made a lot of mistakes and failures to know that I could say to the Lord, “I have sinned before you…” and yet I also know, that God is changing me from glory to glory. It may take some time, but as everyone says as long as were alive, there is still hope.
I hope that anyone who’s reading this right now be blessed and encouraged in any way. May His grace and abundance be with you all!
God bless!!!
